Kombra Foundation works to create a Sierra Leone where women and girls can live with dignity, safety, opportunity and economic independence.
We take an integrated approach to women's empowerment, recognising that progress in one area is often connected to progress in another. Our work spans economic empowerment, health and WASH, education and skills, legal protection and gender-based violence, and women's financial inclusion.
Kombra Foundation believes that when women are empowered, families prosper, communities grow stronger and nations move forward. We work with women, girls, community leaders, government institutions, development partners and civil society organisations to address barriers that limit opportunity and equality. Through practical programmes, advocacy and capacity building, we equip women with the tools, knowledge and support systems needed to build sustainable futures.
Our goal is simple: to create lasting change by helping women gain the confidence, resources and opportunities they need to succeed. By investing in women, we invest in healthier families, stronger communities and a more prosperous Sierra Leone.
